Hon Nick Goiran MLC stated “The tragic events on the weekend where a young man died as a result of gatecrashers is a terrible tragedy. Unfortunately this sort of anti social behaviour has horrendous consequences for all involved and my sympathies go to the family and friends of the young man”.
Parents and Party Organisers are reminded to register their party with police.
“By registering an event, hosts can help local police respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies that occur. Concerned parents should ensure that the form is filled out as part of their party preparations.
“Residents of the South Metropolitan Region should be able to enjoy their events and the best way for this to happen is to work with the local police.”
