Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop: The Role of Parliamentary Committees in Combating Human Trafficking and Forced Labour

I attended the Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop: The Role of Parliamentary Committees in Combating Human Trafficking and Forced Labour, a 3 day international workshop hosted in Western Australia by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association UK.  Representatives from Australian, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Solomon Islands, Sir Lanka and the UK attended. 

The workshop was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas about gathering evidence and research, scrutinising anti-trafficking policy, legislation and oversight of the implementation of anti-trafficking laws.
